Click this link to access a fillable volunteer application or pick one up during business hours at Station 1 (3820 Grandview Rd). Then bring your printed/completed application to Station 1 on any Tuesday evening at 6:30p to meet the crew!
Minimum age to volunteer is 18

REQUIREMENTS
· Must be able to pull 5" LDH hose and successfully connect to the hydrant
· Must be able to correctly don SCBA show they can seal the mask appropriately and go on air
· Must be able to pull a 1 1/2" pre-connect from the truck and lay it successfully to a structure
· Applicant must also pass a written exam regarding operating procedures and regulations of the department
SKILLS/FUCTIONS
· Must be willing and able to become CPR certified (we offer classes)
· Must be willing and able to learn how to take accurate patient vital signs
· Must be able to spike a bag of fluids
· Must be able to maneuver, raise and lower the stretcher
· Applicant must also pass a written exam
